#56: Scarab Brooch
Worn by: Queen Elizabeth II
Owned since: 1996
Estimated value: $50,000*
One of the Queen’s favorite brooches wasn’t the fanciest, but it was super special to her. The Duke of Edinburgh gave her the Scarab Brooch in 1966. It’s made of rubies, yellow gold, and diamonds and has a unique bug shape that Her Majesty really loved.
Even though she has brooches worth a ton of money, this one was always a favorite because of its significance. It’s not about the price tag, but the fact that her adoring husband gave it to her makes it really precious.
