Technology has certainly helped to make things easier. Now, you don’t even need to program a radio yourself – you can just hold down a button and ask Siri to do it for you! But, back in the day, we had to use our fine-tuning skills to get the radio onto the correct station – Kids nowadays will never know the stressful minutes before finally managing to find your favorite station!
It took so much precision to make sure you got exactly the right frequency to hear your favorite tunes. If you went too far or accidentally bumped the dial, you’d be welcome with an earful of static.
