#35: Boris Becker
In 1985, 17-year-old Boris Becker became the youngest man ever to win Wimbledon. The German star went on to win six major titles and made a fortune from prize money and endorsements. After retiring, his spending, divorces, and bad investments kept adding up.

In 2017, a London court declared him bankrupt over millions in unpaid loans. Then things got worse: in 2022, he was convicted of hiding money and property from creditors and sent to prison. He was released after eight months, and in 2024 a court finally ended his bankruptcy.
