#49: Chris Tucker
Chris Tucker was one of the funniest actors of the 1990s, starring in Friday and the Rush Hour movies. He reportedly earned $20 million for Rush Hour 2 and $25 million for Rush Hour 3. Somewhere along the way, though, his tax payments fell behind.
In 2014, news broke that Tucker owed the IRS around $11.5 million in back taxes. The government placed liens on his property, and he sold his home. Tucker set up a plan to pay the debt and kept working, including a role in the 2023 movie Air.
