Stepping out of high school into the real world is definitely a terrifying moment. Just like shown in this comic, life is intimidating! The kid looks like a deer caught in headlights, completely overwhelmed by the challenges and responsibilities that await them,the weight of adulting on their shoulders.

What can we say? Life is scary. That’s a pretty good depiction of what it feels like stepping into the real world after high school. And even now, in my thirties, I still see life as this huge, scary monster waving a bat at me. It doesn’t really get any easier and I don’t have any comforting words on this one.
