#22: Choosing Beige Or Gray Tones That Wash Out The Complexion
Neutral colors can feel elegant and safe, which is why beige, taupe, and gray often become wardrobe staples. But some muted shades can drain warmth from the face, especially when worn close to the skin. Instead of looking refined, the outfit may make you look tired.

Hold colors near your face before buying them. If a shade makes your skin look dull, try a warmer or clearer version. Camel, ivory, soft navy, rose, olive, teal, or berry may be more flattering. You can still wear neutrals; just choose ones that give back.
