#45: Wearing Frosty Eyeshadow
Frosty eyeshadow can seem brightening because it reflects light, but too much shimmer on textured lids can have the opposite effect. Pale metallic shades may highlight creases, dryness, or puffiness. What once looked fun and glamorous can start to feel harsh or dated around the eyes.

Choose softer finishes that still add brightness without looking icy. Satin, pearl, or lightly luminous shadows are usually more flattering than heavy frost. Keep shimmer on the inner corner or center of the lid, and use matte or soft neutral shades in the crease for balance.
