#50: Using Powder All Over The Face
Powder can feel like the safest way to set makeup and reduce shine, but using it everywhere can make the skin look dry and flat. It may settle into fine lines, cling to texture, and take away the natural glow that helps the face look fresh and awake.

Use powder only where you actually need it, such as the T-zone or areas where makeup tends to move. Choose a finely milled formula and apply it lightly with a fluffy brush. Let the cheeks and outer parts of the face keep a little natural radiance.
