#17: Uncontrolled Bleeding
Heavy bleeding or bleeding that does not stop can quickly become life-threatening for a dog. Blood may come from a wound, mouth, nose, paw, or after an injury. Some dogs also become weak, shaky, pale, or collapse if significant blood loss occurs.

Apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth if possible and contact a veterinarian immediately. Keep the dog calm and limit movement to avoid worsening the bleeding. Do not use home remedies or wait too long to see if it improves. Severe bleeding always requires urgent veterinary attention.
