#25: Restlessness With Abdominal Pain
A dog with abdominal pain may pace, whine, drool, stretch oddly, or seem unable to get comfortable. Some dogs repeatedly stand up, lie down, or guard their stomach area. Serious internal problems like bloat, blockages, poisoning, or pancreatitis can cause these symptoms and may worsen quickly.

Contact a veterinarian promptly if your dog shows signs of abdominal pain, especially with vomiting, bloating, weakness, or loss of appetite. Keep the dog calm and avoid food or strenuous activity until they are evaluated. Quick veterinary treatment is important because abdominal emergencies can become dangerous very fast.
