#2: Struggling to Breathe
A dog having trouble breathing may pant heavily, wheeze, gasp, or breathe unusually fast. Some dogs stretch their neck forward or seem unable to settle down. Pale or bluish gums, weakness, and collapse can also appear. Breathing problems can become dangerous very quickly.

Keep the dog calm and move them to a cool, quiet area with fresh air. Avoid exercise, stress, food, or forced water. Contact a veterinarian immediately, especially if the dog seems weak, collapses, or cannot breathe normally. Fast treatment may save the dog’s life.
