#6: Chasing Joggers, Bikes, or Children
Fast movement can trigger chasing instincts in some dogs, especially around joggers, scooters, bicycles, or running children. The dog may bark, lunge, nip, or pull intensely toward moving targets. While some dogs are playful, others may become overly aroused or dangerous during chasing behavior.

Avoid allowing the dog to rehearse chasing behavior repeatedly. Stay calm and create distance from moving triggers when possible. Use secure leashes and controlled environments during walks or training. If the behavior continues or escalates, work with a qualified trainer or behavior professional to improve safety and control.
