A Stellar Collaboration
Following their blockbuster, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Newman and Redford teamed up again for The Sting in 1973, under George Roy Hill’s direction, creating a sensation that arguably surpassed their previous collaboration.

Achieving immense success, The Sting dominated the box office and clinched seven Oscars, including Best Picture. Surprisingly, Robert Redford didn’t watch the film until 2004, partly fearing his performance might be overshadowed due to the physical demands of his role.
