Preserving Cinematic Treasures
The Library of Congress annually adds up to 25 noteworthy films to the National Film Registry. Selected for their cultural, historical, or aesthetic importance, these films are preserved to ensure they endure for future appreciation.

Being included in the registry is a prestigious recognition. Robert Redford boasts three of his films in the collection: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, and All the President’s Men. There’s potential for more of his works to join them.
