Animals are super perceptive. While I’d like to whittle away at the many different reasons for this, it seems pretty straightforward. Now, I don’t believe in ghosts or souls, but I do believe in energy. It’s easy to come up with theories when we will never know the truth in our lifetimes.

If this had happened to me, I’d have lost my mind. I freak out when my dogs bark at nothing in the backyard. For my pup to track what could be my best friend’s energy rising home through the room would leave me freaked out. I’d have to move! Whenever a cupboard closed by itself, I’d think it was her. That’s something she would do, too!
