I think this dream happens a lot but only sticks out when it turns out to be true. It’s possible that mom had been trying for another kid and mentioned it at one point or another. Add in the fact that nearly 20% of the population has some shade of brown hair, and it’s not all that surprising.

I’d have been more impressed if she’d said blond with both parents having brown. That’s what I have. My mom and dad are brunettes, and here I sit with blond hair on my head, clear eyelashes, and barely there eyebrows due to recessive genes. My mom said that’s how she always envisioned me before I was born. Talk about freaky!
