#40: Denim Never Dies
This seems a bit crazy, but what if this thrift store sent someone to buy up all the denim jackets in the area? I’ve never really thought about it before, but even a $0.50 markup or labeling them with colors that aren’t half off that day would be a great way to make money if you have an employee that isn’t busy!
Denim jackets are totally back in style right now, so I can see this being a thing. Either that or the owner just really likes denim jackets and wants to be known as the store that has them. Where do thrift stores get their clothing anyway? Is it all donated? Do they buy it from yard and estate sales? Either way, this person was in luck that day.
