Sleeping on planes is generally difficult, but plenty of us try and often get some sort of rest in through those overnight trips. I slept for almost the entirety of a ten-hour flight once; that was a time. But when that opportunity isn’t available, you end up in a situation like this.
Long flights are often the cause of staying up a few days straight, and the result is being so exhausting your body seems to shut down for far longer than normal as it tries to sort of reset itself. That sounds like the case with this, given the Redditor ended up sleeping for 24 hours straight afterward.
