People Share Unexplained Things That Happened to Them, and We’re Freaked Out

So if you see a person in your house who isn’t supposed to be there, I think a lot of us would be inclined to think immediately of the supernatural, especially if the person who isn’t supposed to be there happens to look exactly like your roommate, which is weird. That’s scary, for sure, but the more scary possibility has nothing to with the supernatural.

This story reminded me of something else I’d heard of—something that is not supernatural but is equally unnerving. And that’s when people find out that strangers have been living inside their houses without their knowledge, like that story from Japan a while ago where a man found out a woman had been living in his closet for a year. I would find that just as terrifying.
