#34: Air Transat Flight 236 (2001)
Crossing the Atlantic, a fuel leak drained both engines of an Airbus A330. The jet lost power and became a giant glider over the ocean. The crew managed a daring emergency landing in the Azores, Portugal. Miraculously, all 306 passengers and crew survived the terrifying ordeal.

The accident was traced to improper maintenance that damaged fuel lines. Despite the cause, the pilots were praised for incredible skill in pulling off one of the longest powerless landings ever. Flight 236 became known as a story of survival against impossible odds.
