#7: Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk
They say to never cry over spilled milk, but if Kevin didn’t do so in Home Alone, we wouldn’t have the movie franchise we know and love today. Diehard fans might already know this from watching the movie so many times, but the entire plot of the 1990 film is kicked off when Kevin gets into a fight with his brother and spills milk all over the counter.
After the scuffle, his family is outraged by his behavior. They send Kevin up to the attic as punishment, and he dramatically wishes his family would disappear. He gets his wish when they all leave the next morning for a Christmas vacation to France. As we all know, hilarious chaos ensues. The movie is so full of slapstick comedy and quick takes that many viewers don’t notice that it’s all thanks to a little spill.
