Physical Therapy
During the war, countless soldiers were left with devastating injuries that made it impossible for them to return to their normal lives. But thanks to the hard work and dedication of the reconstruction aides (also known as nurses), these soldiers were given a chance to rebuild their bodies and their lives.

These brave and dedicated women were responsible for providing both physical and occupational therapy to wounded soldiers, using whatever resources they had available. They used everything from simple exercises to massage and hydrotherapy to help their patients heal and get back on their feet.
