There is a lot to critique about the current education system in the United States. Many schools are underfunded, and most teachers are overworked and underpaid. There are so many issues that need fixing it can be hard to know where to start. These issues have been around for such a long time that they seem completely normal. 

Sure, we may not like certain things about our education system, but it’s “always” been like this. How in the world would we be able to change it?
