College has always been pretty pricey. But let’s be honest. The average price of attending college is astronomical these days. If people don’t get grants and scholarships, they often have to take out hefty loans they spend years trying to repay. College is becoming less and less possible for more and more people. 

But what if it doesn’t have to be that way? We assume the unaffordable price of college is normal, but maybe that will change in the future. After all, more college courses are online. While you definitely have to pay for the expertise of professors and teaching assistants, it seems weird to pay so much to sit in your room and look at a screen.
