This is the Story of What Happened to the Real Cleopatra

In 47 BCE, Cleopatra gave birth to a son named Ptolemy XV Caesar. He became better known as Caesarion, a nickname meaning “Little Caesar.”

Cleopatra clearly wanted the boy associated with Julius Caesar, and she later placed him beside her as co-ruler. Yet Caesar never officially named him as his Roman heir, leaving one dangerous question hanging over the child’s future.
