#11: An Actual Original
It’s always sort of fascinating to me to see what people have been taught about other countries. In America, we learn American history, of course, but we also learn a fair bit of European history, just because it has affected our own story so much. (Well, at least if we’re paying attention in school, we learn a bit of European history).

But I will openly admit that I know next to nothing about Chilean history. However, unlike the American in this story, I don’t expect Chileans to have learned a great deal about U.S. history. Also, I am now terribly curious to know what an actual original country is. Were they implying that Chile is just a copycat?
