Times People Played a Significant Role in Someone Else’s Life and Didn’t Realize Until Much Later

Moving schools can be hard, especially when it comes to making friends. When this storyteller was a kid, she made friends with a girl that went to her school for only one year. Once this new friend moved, they lost contact, and their friendship was broken. By an act of fate (we can only assume), they were able to reconnect seven years later!

They got along just as well as when they first met, even though so many years had passed. The girl’s mom revealed to our storyteller that her friendship meant more than she realized. The friend had gone through a really bad depression when they first moved, and she really missed her friendship with the storyteller. She was shocked to learn how much of an impression her friendship made on someone else.
