#15: Anne Hathaway Then
Anne Hathaway made her Disney debut in The Princess Diaries (2001), where she starred as Mia Thermopolis, an awkward teenager who learns she’s heir to a royal throne. Her transformation from shy high-schooler to confident princess captured audiences worldwide and became one of Disney’s most beloved modern fairy tales.

Before The Princess Diaries, Hathaway had appeared in small TV roles, but Disney catapulted her to international fame. Her mix of humor, charm, and emotional depth made her a perfect fit for the studio’s coming-of-age storytelling. She reprised her role in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement in 2004.
