#17: Keira Knightley Then
Keira Knightley became part of Disney history through her role as Elizabeth Swann in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) and its sequels. Her fierce and adventurous character brought strength and sophistication to the series, helping make the films one of Disney’s biggest live-action successes.

Before joining Disney, Keira had already appeared in smaller British films and TV roles, but Pirates made her an international star. Her mix of wit, courage, and grace made Elizabeth Swann a beloved heroine, standing shoulder to shoulder with Disney’s classic princesses in a new, modern way.
