#4: Phylicia Rashad Now
Phylicia Rashad has remained a respected figure in entertainment. She’s worked extensively on stage, earning a Tony Award in 2004, and continues to be celebrated for her talent and dignity. She’s also served as a mentor to younger performers, keeping her reputation as one of TV’s most admired matriarchs intact.

Her more recent work includes roles in Empire, This Is Us, and the Creed films, where she played Mary Anne Creed. In 2021, she was appointed Dean of the College of Fine Arts at Howard University. Phylicia Rashad continues to balance acting with leadership and education.
