#17: Watching From Above

The spotted cat stood on top of the cabinet, staring down at Leah.
Its long legs made more sense from that angle. So did the size of its paws.
Leah slowly picked up the bowl and left the garage. She closed the door behind her and leaned against it.
Perhaps exotic house cats really could jump that high.
But the explanation was beginning to feel weak. The animal looked less like a strange pet each time she saw it clearly.
