#38: Watch Out for Dogs in Trees
On the one hand, this story makes me think it’s good to have dogs so that they can warn you if something is in your backyard. On the other hand, I’m thinking that sometimes, you might be happier not knowing that something is in your backyard, if that’s something is a mysterious tree-climbing red-eyed hound.
On the third hand, I Googled it out of curiosity, and now I know that Huskies can, in fact, climb trees, and I have spent several happy minutes watching a cute little guy do just that. So it is possible that a large husky got into this person’s yard, and when he shined a light at it, that light reflected red, as often happens with animal eyes. Sorry, I know that’s not as exciting a solution as having some kind of monster in your backyard.
