Baby monitors are notorious for freaking parents out. If I didn’t know better, I’d say every house with a baby in it was haunted because the things baby monitors pick up on just aren’t there! Of course, some people use them for reasons other than babies, so interference can still be a thing even if there aren’t any neighbors with kids.

My daughter had a doll that kept going off in the middle of the night, and I’d hear it over the monitor. Once I figured out what it was, I threw it away. When I tell you I still hear it now and then through the speaker, I’m not kidding. It’s freaky!
